Police clearance certificate in Russia

Police clearance certificate in Russia is a service that our company provides to clients outside the Russian Federation.
 
This document is issued by the Ministry of Interior of the Russian Federation however, if a customer is in Russia it is possible for him to independently apply to the department of the Ministry at the place of residence to order a certificate.
 
The certificate can be ordered and received in one of our offices in Ukraine. Also, if it is necessary, we will send the original of prepared certificate anywhere in Russia and Ukraine with the help of the international courier service.
 
If you need to order a police clearance certificate in Russia you must provide the required documents and additional information:
 
- Did the person in whose name the certificate is ordered change name or surname? If the name or surname were changed, you should specify all previous names and surnames.
- Name of the federal district or town of residence of a person in the Russian Federation.
- Approximate date of start and the expiration date of person's residence in the Russian Federation.
 
This document may be required in different cases outside Russia, such as:
- A residence permit obtaining;
- Registration of citizenship;
- Visa obtaining;
- Work permit;
- Family reunification;
- Company registration and opening bank accounts;
- Renting a car. 
 
Police clearance certificate in Russia (or certificate of no criminal conviction) can be given to both: a citizen of the Russian Federation and a citizen of a foreign state.
 
Police clearance certificate in Russia is valid for 3 months abroad. It is necessary to take into account that the validity period is counted from the date of issuance of the certificate, but not from the date of actual receipt of the document by the client.

Depending on the targeted country the legalization process may include:
 
1. Apostilization in the relevant Ministry of Russia;
2. Translation into a particular foreign language;
3. Notarization;
4. Certification of the certificate by the consulate of the targeted country.
 
If a police clearance certificate in Russia is required for further use in Ukraine, you need to translate this document into Ukrainian and notarize it. No legalization is required since Russia and Ukraine have signed a bilateral agreement about legal assistance in civil cases.
